Course: Money and Capital Markets II

The course Money and Capital Markets II focuses on the valuation of derivatives and the use of these products for hedging purposes. The course emphasizes the basic economic principles that underlie the pricing and uses of derivatives and analyzes securities such as futures contracts, options and swaps. Valuation methodologies such as the multi-period binomial tree and the Black-Scholes-Merton model are analyzed. Real examples with applications of derivative products will be discussed during the course.
